Art Miles

This is a great telecolaborative project education. It colaborates different aspects of learning. Some murals that you can participate in are, peace murals, aboriginal awarness murals, multicultural diversity murals, enviromental murals, fairy tale murals etc....

Object is to join the world. You get a 10 to 20 kids, or a class, with teachers participating in making a mural. You then send it to where the mural is being presented. It then creates ,with other murals in the world, a mile long mural. What a great idea to create unity and awarness in our world.

This is a great project for my arts ed classes because you can see the result and process on the web of all the other murals being made. Its a great way to get the class to work in groups and creative thinking. It connects the class to other students internationally. It also colaborates other concepts and issues keeping the children thinking about the world around them. This projects intergrates more then one subject in the class room.
